Notification! We will be open as a cooling center site Tomorrow and Tuesday 8/24 and 8/25 from 10 am to 6pm . Please come in and enjoy our air conditioning. Please wear facial mask and adhere to social distancing rules while in center.

Good Morning all , the following is to announce that the NYC Office of Emergency Management and NYC Department for the Aging have activated our Center as a Cooling Center Site for Thursday July 23rd 2020. The Site will be open from 10Am to 6PM on both days. Anyone 60 years of age and over are welcome to come in a cool off . Our site will strictly follow Covid guidelines during this day guidelines are
: Must Wear face covering to enter building
: Must adhere to Social Distance Rules ( Posted Signs)
: Must wash hands regularly throughout stay

Meals were distributed at 11:30am to Senior Members at both sites . Management, and our funding source “Department for the Aging” have made the commitment to provide all our members with a hot Nutritonist meal from Monday through Friday. Please stop by at 11:30Am and pick up your meal:

Buenas Noches a toda la membresía del Cypress Hills Fulton Street Senior Citizens Center , en vista de prevenir y frenar el virus Corona el Alcalde de Nueva York Bill De Blassio y el Departamento del Envejecimiento de NY (DFTA) han tomado la decisión de cerrar el centro y suspender programación hasta nuevo aviso. Nuestro Empleados iremos a cocinarle y empacar el almuerzo para distribuir de 11:30am a 12:30pm. Pueden llegar a recoger almuerzo y llevárselo a casa a comer. Por favor no llegar antes de las 11:30am (No se permitirá acceso ) . Esto seguirá hasta que oficiales de Alcaldía nos den orden de abrir de nuevo. Gracias por su cooperación y por favor practiquen métodos de prevención. Bendiciones a todos.

Good evening Cypress Hills Fulton Street Senior Citizen Center Members , In efforts to prevent further spread of Corona Virus , The Mayor of NYC Bill De Blassio and Department For the Aging Of NYC have made the decision to CLOSE senior center and suspend all programming until further notice. Staff will be on site to cook and pack a meal which will be distributed at 11:30 am to 12:30pm. You will be allowed to pick up meal to take home with you (no gathering inside the center) please do not show up early (before 11:30am), we are not permitted to grant access to building . We will do this daily until we receive orders to open by City Officials. Thank you for Cooperating and please be safe during these times of hardship.
