At Lamar CISD Transportation, our mission is to prioritize the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our transportation services to ensure every student has a smooth and secure journey to and from school. Our dedicated team of drivers and staff work tirelessly to provide the highest level of care and professionalism. We are committed to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for all students, ensuring they arrive at school ready to learn and grow. To help us prepare for the 2026-2027 school year, we are requesting that all families complete the Student Transportation Form, even if you don't intend for your student to ride the bus. This form can be found by scanning the QR code in the image attached or visiting https://www.lcisd.org/transportation.

- Submit this form no later than August 2, for your student to ride the bus for the first day of school.
- If a form is not submitted by August 2, your student WILL NOT receive bus transportation until August 24
- For all forms submitted between August 3 and August 21, bus transportation will begin on August 24.

Thursday, May 21, is the last day of school for students and will also be an early release day across the district. As we wrap up another incredible school year, let’s finish strong and make this final week a great one! 📚

Parents and Guardians,

We would like to inform you that Friday, May 15, our third grade students will be participating in Career Day activities. As part of this experience, students will hear from the Houston Police Department’s SWAT Unit. Please note that a SWAT vehicle will be parked in front of the school during the presentation. We are sharing this information proactively to ensure our families and community are aware of the activity and to prevent any concerns regarding student safety.

This is a planned, educational event designed to support student learning and career exploration.
