Cub Scout Pack 153

Cub Scout Pack 153 We are part of Burlington County Council and offer Cub Scouting for boys aged 6-10 in the Browns Mills/Pemberton, NJ area. Pack meetings are the 3rd Thursday of every month at 6:30 PM in the Harker-Wylie School.

Cub Scouting means "doing." Everything in Cub Scouting is designed to have the boys doing things. Activities are used to achieve the aims of Scouting—citizenship training, character development, and personal fitness. Many of the activities happen right in the den and pack. The most important are the weekly den meetings and the monthly pack meetings. Apart from the fun and excitement of Cub Scout activities, the Cub Scout Promise, the Law of the Pack, and the Cub Scout sign, handshake, motto, and salute all teach good citizenship and contribute to a boy's sense of belonging.

Mission: Cub Scout Promise I, (name), promise to do my best To do my duty to God and my country, To help other people, and To obey the Law of the Pack. CUB SCOUT MOTTO: DO YOUR BEST!

Well we have a slight glitch, the Parents Meeting that was scheduled for Friday 14oct11, 1830 in the all purpose room at Harker- Wylie school is going to be moved as the all purpose room apparently has a scheduling conflict. We will call the Den leaders and post the new location on here by tomorrow night. As before, if your Cub is planning to stay on as a member of Pack 153 we would like to see you Friday evening, if you just want your Son to join a local Cub Scout Pack we would like to see you there as well. We have experienced some recent changes to our Leadership and will be restructuring, we are looking for your input and your involvement as we begin another Cub Scouting year.
