llips Properties, former owners of Texmart, Tex Best Travel Centers, and Burger King, to opportunities working for entities like Homeland Security, national chains like, Simon Properties, and Real Estate Management companies like United Apartment Group, where he's excelled in establishing crucial connections through technology and fiber optics. Fernando holds degrees in network security and computer systems and software development from Texas State Technical College. Beyond his corporate endeavors, Fernando remains deeply invested in his community through non-profit organizations and aiding those in need locally and across Mexico respectively. Today, he continues his altruistic efforts by assisting non-profit organizations with their technological infrastructure. Fernando staunchly opposes new taxes but advocates for a fair taxing system that prioritizes the needs of Cameron County residents. With a reputation for approachability and a knack for problem-solving, Fernando is poised to represent the community effectively. He believes in putting the people of Cameron County first, striving to ensure equitable property appraisals and amplifying the voices of those on fixed incomes or with limited budgets, including retirees.
