America 250-Ohio.
America250

The “Battle of the Olentangy” took place on June 6, 1782, during the Crawford Expedition in the AMERICAN REVOLUTIONARY WAR (April 19, 1775-September 3, 1783)

A retreating force of roughly 480 American militia successfully fought off an ambush by British Rangers and Native American warriors near the Olentangy River in present-day Crawford County, Ohio.

This is considered one of the final battles of the American Revolution on the Western Front / Theater, today known as Ohio.

The Olentangy Monument is located on State Route 19 between Bucyrus and Galion, Ohio.
