**Notice to Designating Petition Filers For Congress, Senate and Assembly**
The March 31, 2022 order of the State Supreme Court Order (Harkenrider v Hochul, Sup. Ct. Steuben County Index No. E2022-0116cv Doc# 243) which declared the 2022 Congressional, Senate and Assembly lines unconstitutional has been STAYED pending appeal.
That means that the filing period for designating petitions will remain April 4 to April 7 and all other deadlines provided for by law are still in effect pending further court determinations.
All designating petitions must be filed during that time period.
Primary Day is Tuesday, June 28, and general Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 8.

Had a great meeting today with our counterparts from the Monroe County Board of Elections about best practices for BOEs - we are always working to make the electoral process as efficient and transparent as possible for the people and voters of NYS.
As Chair of the NYS Election Commissioners Association's bipartisan legislative committee, I was pleased to meet with my colleagues via Zoom earlier today to discuss reforms we all agree will make elections more efficient and more accessible for all New Yorkers.
I look forward to discussing these important measures with state lawmakers throughout the 2022 legislative session, and thank my fellow committee members for their hard work.
