As we come to the close of one of the most bizarre and challenging summers at our workshop we want to extend a big GObike thank you to all the friends, neighbors, and customers (new and returning) who continue to support our shop. Our hearts missed teaching, learning, and wrenching alongside you all and we look forward to the day we can do it again. Despite the uncertainty of the world, this summer we saw a tremendous increase in the number of people on bikes, and the number of bikes we were able to fix up and get back on the road. We are happy to know that this likely contributed to many smiles and awesome two wheeled adventures. The shop will be CLOSED from August 31-September 15 to give the four of us the chance to rest, reboot, and re imagine the road ahead!

Meet Jennifer! She is a local activist, avid crafter, and devoted mother of three wonderful kids. Jen’s oldest child recently learned to ride a two-wheeler and, after seeing the excitement on her daughter’s face, Jen decided it was time to get herself a new bike to join the family fun. She picked up this versatile refurbished Univega from our community workshop’s online store! At GObike, we believe that active mobility makes people's lives better. A joyful ride with the family or a mind-clearing solo trip to the park can make a big difference during these times of social distance and uncertainty. Happy New Bike Day Jen! We hope your new-to-you Univega will make quarantine life a little better.

It's that time again! A big GObike Shop thank you to our wonderful members and patrons who continue to make each summer the best yet!!! This year we hosted a ton of mobile repair events, expanded our service department, and welcomed two summer youth employees (Nae Rae not pictured). We also had several visits from many of our shop cat Lu's adoring fans! We are so lucky to be able to share our knowledge, skills, and greasy bike parts with you all. Thanks for allowing us to do what we love. ❤️

We will be taking a little time off for a much needed break and will resume fall/winter hours on Thursday September 12 at 6pm.

hi just want to confirm that ur in fact open tonight at 6? wanna make sure bc i've been mislead b4 and i really gotta fix up my bike!
Were will your pictures be posted for today's event?
So I purchased a bike at a unfortunate local bike shop 2 years ago. (I choose not to disclose the name on this site, as it seemed to stir up some disparaging comments on the Slow Roll site. So much so that admin. had to close down the comments. I was overcharged for a bike that is too big for me (my bad). When I went back to see if he would be willing to buy it back so I could get a bike that fit me properly he told me "You didn't buy it here, we don't sell Trek bikes." When he was shown the sticker that clearly stated @#$%^ Bikes, by his own employee,he went on to insult me and told me I looked old, and had put some miles on, furthermore I should sell it on EBAY or Craigs list. So now I have a bike that is too tall for me (54cm) that has remained unused. I paid $900 for. I would at the very least like to have the handlebars switched out so that perhaps I won't have to reach so far. I have invested much $ and loosing faith my ability to negotiate. Can you help make this bike useable. Missing too many rides....Took it to Berts and Mr Handlebars both very nice and said very clean should be able to sell it. No luck on Craigslist (5 weeks) thank you in advance for any assistance you can give me.
