Happy New Year from everyone at the Buffalo Therapeutic Riding Center! We're hoping 2020 is a year when many wishes and dreams come true for our participants, volunteers, donors and friends.
Just a reminder for those of you who support BTRC financially: Contributions are tax-deductible in the year the contributions are made. If you’re mailing a year-end gift it should be postmarked or arrive in our office by December 31, 2019. Online contributions made through our website, Facebook fundraising link, Square, etc. can be made at any time – as long as the charge is captured before the close of the calendar year (11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time on December 31). In any case, your year-end gift is greatly appreciated as we plan for our programs in 2020. Many thanks for all you do to help us provide the gift of therapeutic riding to children with special needs!
We're wishing you all the best during this holiday season. Thanks to all our sponsors, exhibitors and staff who made the 2019 show such a huge success! Make sure to SAVE THE DATE for the 2020 Buffalo International Horse Show: September 10-13, 2020.

The holiday season reminds us of the true joy found in giving to others. Thanks to our volunteers and donors who help Buffalo Therapeutic Riding Center share the amazing gift of connecting horses and children with special needs. We're wishing you joy, peace, laughter and love in this holiday season...and a happy New Year!
Giving Tuesday is not just about financial giving, but also the generous gift of time and energy that volunteers provide. We cannot thank our 2019 volunteers enough! Without this group of dedicated volunteers, we could not offer the experiences and programs that have changed the lives of children and horses. To find out more about the Buffalo Therapeutic Riding Center volunteer opportunities, or to apply to volunteer in 2020, see the "Become a Volunteer" page on our website: http://www.thebtrc.org/how-to-help/become-a-volunteer/
At the BTRC, volunteers truly make the world go round. We serve anywhere from 40 to 50 riders each week. Each of those riders requires one to three volunteers – so clearly, we really rely on the hard work and dedication of our volunteers!
Today's Giving Tuesday! We'll be sharing more information on our program and the opportunities you have to make a profound difference through the gift of therapeutic riding. Since 1992, The BTRC has been providing equine assisted programs and services to children with a wide range of disabilities. Currently we have a need for scholarship funding and "bricks & mortar" - especially our roof! If you can help us with an online donation, follow the link below. #GivingTuesday
It's THANKSGIVING week, and we're grateful for many things: For our patient and affectionate horses, for our amazing volunteers and the support they offer, for our riders and the countless ways they inspire us, and for the donors who help to make this all happen! Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, from the BTRC.
