was a full service recording facility designed and built in 2012 by Joe Cardamone from The Icarus Line. As budgets for records continued to dwindle over the last couple years the need for a proper but cost effective room became paramount. The ethos behind the studio is to provide a classic top of the line recording for everyone that needs one. The studio is as much as a business as it is a resourc

e geared towards bands, solo artists and other live collaborations. Our facility in Burbank is large enough to handle almost any size project short of a full orchestra. Our space houses a live room with 14 foot ceilings, a tight dead overdub/iso room (large enough to fit a whole band in), a bass closet, a specifically tuned control room and a green room that is actually green. It's been a long road to get here and we've picked up some really cool gear and ideas on the way. VRC is the culmination of years building towards creating a classic space to make records. All of our efforts are geared towards approaching music as art, creating lasting documents that define a moment in time. Some recent clients include: Slayer, Smashing Pumpkins, Jesus and Mary Chain, FEAR, Giant Drag, Evan Dando, Pink Mountaintops, The Icarus Line, Spirit Vine and half the LA local scene.
