• Time: 1:00–4:00 PM
• Location: Buena Vista Library

• Electronics
• Clothing and textiles
• Bicycles
• Jewelry
• Small household items
• And more!

Interested in volunteering? Contact Amy Hammes, Recycling Specialist:

🐾 A friendly reminder to always clean up dog “poo-lution”—on walks, at the dog park, and even in your own yard.

🌧️ 💦 Dog waste contains harmful bacteria that may wash away with irrigation or rain and make its way into storm drains...which enters local waterways. 🌊

💩 ➡️ 🗑️ Pick it up. Bag it. Trash it. Help keep our waterways clean and makes Burbank more walkable. 👟

🌊 TOMORROW IS THE DAY! 🌊

Coastal Cleanup Day brings volunteers together across California to remove trash from beaches, rivers, creeks, lakes, and shorelines. Every cleanup makes a difference—because the water in our communities can carry trash all the way to the ocean.

While there are no scheduled cleanup events in Burbank, there are plenty in the Los Angeles area that would love your help. Find cleanup events and information on how to participate: https://www.coastal.ca.gov/publiced/ccd/ccd.html

🧤 Grab your gloves and reusable water bottle (hydrate!), gather your community, and join in!

💙 Volunteer this Saturday, September 19th and help clean California’s precious waterways!

California Coastal Cleanup Day is organized by the California Coastal Commission and is part of the Ocean Conservancy’s 35 Annual International Coastal Cleanup, which is the largest volunteer event on the planet!

Can't make the scheduled event?

The Commission also offers self-guided cleanups that you can do at a neighborhood, park, street, or waterway whenever convenient. You can record your results using the free CleanSwell app so your cleanup contributes to statewide data.
