Happy Birthday Elvis!

Today, we celebrate spider monkey Elvis' 64th birthday! 🎉

While we don't know his exact date of birth, Elvis is possibly the oldest spider monkey in the world living under human care.

It’s official! Keebler is out of quarantine + has moved to his nice new condo. He finally gets to enjoy being outside after years of being stuck in a small cage indoors! This is so exciting for him. We worked hard to make his bedroom appealing for him to sleep in that’s climate control - it gets hot in Texas.

Spider monkey Abu was convinced he would build the skybridge faster if the contractor would just hand over the drill. Never a dull moment around the exotic zoo!

Not sure if this was Keebler’s first time to eat live mealworms but he sure did enjoy it. These feeder worms we picked up from the local feed store + now we will have to order more. Just love hearing his happy whistles.
