Happy Fathers Day to the men that love fur babies!
Johnson County Humane Society is a non-profit, no kill rescue group. We rescue animals from area shelters, bringing animals and people together by providing loving foster homes and ultimately permanent homes for these precious animals.
We are a group of dedicated volunteers who have a passion for rescuing animals. We foster in our homes while preparing the animals for their forever homes. Our animals are all spayed/neutered and fully vaccinated before they are adopted. Please consider volunteering your time to our organization.

Today marks exactly 100 years since World War I ended. On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918 an armistice between Germany and the Allied nations came into effect, ending WWI. November 11th then became Armistice Day, later changed to Veterans Day. To commemorate the 100th anniversary, an animated film has been released to teach others about the war with a focus on America's most decorated war dog, Sgt. Stubby. We recommend this film and salute all who have served! www.stubbymovie.com
