A cell phone was turned in to City hall that was found at the corner of Ash and Park in Burlingame. Please come to city hall to claim.

The City of Burlingame is now accepting sealed bids for someone to hay the ground around the City lagoons. Bids will be opened at the July 6, 2026, meeting. The City reserves the right to refuse any or all bids. Please submit all concealed bids to City Hall, Attn. City Clerk, 101 East Santa Fe Ave, Burlingame, KS 66413 by 5:00 pm on July 3rd. The City’s page is just one of several ways we communicate important information, events, and emergency updates. If you have a question, concern, or need assistance, please contact City Hall at 785-654-2414 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Residents may also submit a concern form through the City of Burlingame website or email City Hall at [email protected].

For after-hours and weekend emergencies involving utility services—such as power outages, water service interruptions, or the smell of natural gas—please call the After-Hours Emergency Number at 785-234-4444. Your call will be dispatched to City utility staff for prompt response and assistance. You can also call 785-654-2414 and leave a message. The message will be handled during regular business hours.

If you were issued a boil advisory by the City of Burlingame, please plan to continue to boil your water until further notice.

The City experienced a water pump station failure overnight. Some residents on the west side of the city lost water pressure. Actions have been taken to fix this issue.

As a precaution, if you had lost water pressure, it is recommended that you boil water for the next 24 hours unless otherwise notified by the City.

City Hall has been advised that all electricity has been restored. If you do not have electricity, please contact City Hall at 785-654-2414. If you're calling after 4:30 pm, please contact the after-hours number at 785-231-6431.

The City of Burlingame is still working diligently to restore your power. Unfortunately, some areas that had power had to have it turned off so they could work on the lines. Power is being restored as quick as possible.

We are quickly working to restore the power. The Burlingame Swimming Pool will be a free swim today, June 9, 2026 since some folks are still without power.
