Press Release - Notification
August 23, 2026
(Burlington) – Endeavor Emergency Squad has received re-accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services for its compliance with national standards of excellence. It is one of only 195 ambulance services in North America to successfully complete the voluntary review process, which included completion of a comprehensive application and an on-site review by national experts in emergency medical services (EMS). Endeavor Emergency Squad remains one of only four emergency medical services in the State of New Jersey to accomplish this achievement.
The Commission is a non-profit organization which was established to encourage and promote quality patient care in America’s emergency medical system. The primary focus of the Commission’s standards is high-quality patient care. This is accomplished by establishing national standards which not only address the delivery of patient care, but also the ambulance service’s total operation. Further it sets national standards with its relationships with other agencies, the general public, and the medical community. The Commission’s standards often exceed state and local licensing requirements.
President/CEO Joseph Conrey of Endeavor Emergency Squad said [re-accreditation] “represents our firm commitment to our patients and the communities we serve. Endeavor continuously strives to do our best and viewed accreditation as another step towards excellence. Our dedicated team has been key to our successful completion of the process. I think it gives the feeling of prestige and pride to work in an accredited EMS agency.” President Conrey also said everyone has played a valuable role in the ability to meet the Commission’s high standards. We have achieved accreditation but believe it can only be a stimulus for continued improvement.
