After a very hotly contested, down-to-the-wire primary election, I'm happy to say that Tiff Bluemle and I are the two Democratic nominees for the two seats in the VT House representing our part of Burlington, and as we are uncontested in the general election, it looks very much as though I'll be getting sworn in in January. A new adventure!

Today's update!

I am continuing to prioritize meeting voters, and have been knocking on doors, attending events, delivering lawn signs, and inviting conversations via email, text, and social media every day. It has been a privilege to connect with so many of you.

It's an honor to be running for one of the two Democratic nominations for the Vermont House from Burlington's South End. Right now, as far as we know, only two of us have made firm decisions to run (Tiff Bluemly, running for re-election, and me), but we hear there are several people thinking about running, so it's likely to be a lively primary campaign. The deadline to file is May 30, so we'll know in the next couple of weeks who's running, and then it's only six and half weeks until the primary on August 13th. It's going to be quite a ride!
