Wood Street Fair was a success...It was a gorgeous day and we had a lot of people come and visit our loverly homes...The September meeting will be next Tuesday on the 17th at 7pm in the Keegan Center.

Wood Street Fair is this Saturday... Come out and see our historic homes and all the other fun things in the city. Hoskin's House and the Carriage House will be open from 12 - 4 for free tours.

Saturday May 18th is Burlington Day...the Hoskin's House and Carriage House will be open from 1 pm - 4 pm...Come down to Burlington and enjoy a day of fun with the city!

Very exciting things happening for the Historical Society, we currently have a paranormal research team looking at activity in the Hoskin's House...come out to our April meeting to find out what they have found

Our Holiday House Tour is a little over a week away...Once again we have a great tour planned with a total of 21 private homes and public buildings, with refreshments and entertainment by the Piney Hollow Drifters at Old St. Mary's Episcopal Church...Tickets are $20 and will be on sale at Philip's Furniture, the Library Co. Of Burlinton and Historic Antiques and Art Emporium and a portion of ticket sales will go to the Burlington City Music Department.

Getting ready for our Holiday House Tour. We are hosting it on December 9th from 3:30 to 7:30, we have a total of 21 Private homes and Public Buildings on our tour this year. A portion of the ticket sale proceeds will go to the Burlington City High School Music Department. Tickets are on sale for $20 at Philip's Furniture, The Library Company of Burlington and Antique Emporium. Please come out and enjoy our city all decorated for the season and support our local businesses who so generously support us all year round.

On July 26 we had a meeting with the Delaware Valley Paranormal Research Society to receive the report on the schoolhouse. Surpisingly they did pick up something??? Anyone interested in reviewing this report or the report done on the Hoskin's House you are welcome to join us at one of our meetings.

Our newsletter the Kent Chronicles is out and can be picked up at,... Burlington Pharmacy, Umms, The Libary Company of Burlington, The County Library on Woodlane Rd, Burlington City Hall, Philip's Furniture, also the Prison Museum in Mt Holly and Smithville.

Our meeting for this month is going to be on Sunday April 10th at 3pm at the Keegan Center. It's going to be a very exciting meeting because we will once again be hosting the Delaware Valley Paranormal Research Association and they will be telling us what they found during their investigation of the Hoskin's House in February.

hey everyone the June meeting is going to be at the Masonic Home Pavillion on June 8th at 6pm....it is a potluck picnic and we'll be having hamburgers and hotdogs.....if you want to bring something just let me kno on here and i'll add it to the list.

the airconditioning in the Hoskin's house is working so if it is hot outside tomorrow it'll be nice and cool inthe house...Stop by and see the house and we also are gonna have the school house open

gettin ready for Burlington Day and the Garden Tour......the Hoskins house is gonna be open from 11 am-4pm and the School House is going to be open from 1pm-5pm, and hopefully the air conditioning is goin to be working.....if you want to help docent for either house call 609-387-0586
