We are just a couple weeks away from our virtual fundraiser with Lea Thompson.

This is the first in my summer series of fundraisers for our rural House candidates.

I’m hoping we can raise $2010 by the time I get back from vacation. That’s just $10 for all 201 seats we are contesting for the first time in state history.

The Beginning Farmer Tax Credit incentivizes and makes it possible for new farmers in HD5B to break into the business, and offers mentoring and support from seasoned farmers. This program is a win-win for the future of farming in Minnesota.

The Beginning Farmer Tax Credit incentivizes established farmers to rent or sell equipment, livestock and land to beginning farmers. The program’s mission is to “foster farmer-to-farmer connections.”

I am a sucker for quirky events. Looks like I need to put sharpening of my the Lake Of The Isles Pencil on my list for next year.

The yearly sharpening of the Lake Of The Isles Pencil is happing right now. When idiots say no one goes to Minneapolis anymore, this proves they don't know what they're talking about. This fun, weird and unique event is just one of many awesome things happening around the city this summer. The Uptown Cat Tour and Porchfest are also on the calendar. You should attend.
