Blazing Paddles! Teamwork, determination, and a whole lot of fun paid off for Blazing Paddles at this year’s Pittsburgh Dragon Boat Festival!

The water paddle team included friends and family of Cranberry Public Library employee and breast cancer survivor Amy Fuller, along with fellow survivor and library employee Pye Pajewski, and library Makerspace volunteer Ian Lucas.

This marked the team’s fourth year competing, with one simple mission: Have fun and don’t finish last! They’ve accomplished both every year, but this time, they added something new to the mix - their first-ever medal!

Congratulations to Blazing Paddles on making waves for a great cause!

Celebrate Halloween early this Friday, October 23 from 5:30-7:30 PM at the Cranberry Municipal Center with tons of free activities, including:

The deadline to apply for the Township's next Business Analyst (II) has been extended.

Cranberry Township's IT Department is seeking a Business Analyst II to connect the dots among people, processes, data, and technology.

In this role, you'll work with Township departments and teams to identify challenges, develop practical technology solutions, and help improve the systems that support our employees and customers.

You'll also:
- Analyze business and user needs
- Help implement new and updated software
- Work with software vendors
- Provide training, documentation, and technical support
- Develop automated reporting systems and manage data imports/exports

If you're a problem-solver who enjoys working across teams and finding ways to make technology work better, we'd like to hear from you!

💫They've got the spirit! 💫

The Cranberry Public Library honored individuals who have gone above and beyond in service to the Library by presenting them with Mazzoni Spirit of Giving Awards.

The awards are given annually to those who generously support the library by sharing their time, talents, and resources; exhibit a creative vision for the future of Library service within the community; show an unselfish dedication to serving the Library; act as an exemplary ambassador on the library’s behalf; and demonstrate inspirational library and community leadership.

The 2026 recipients are Ian Lucas, a Makerspace volunteer and instructor, and the Rotary Club of Cranberry Township - Sunrise. Congratulations and thank you for your service!

The moment you've been waiting for... 🕸🎃 Voting is now OPEN for the 8th annual Pet Costume Contest!

Vote for your favorite costumed pet by giving their photo a 'Like' 👍, 'Love' ❤️, or other interaction. The 10 photos with the most interactions will advance to the final round where students from the Cranberry Township Kids Club will vote for 1st and 2nd place winners.

Facebook voting closes at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 23! The winners will be announced the following Friday, October 30 - good luck!

Note: Any photos with signs of paid likes will be automatically disqualified.
