TURF’S UP AT COMMUNITY PARK!

We’re celebrating a home run for local baseball and softball! Cranberry Township has completed a new turf infield project at Ballfields 3 and 4 in Community Park, providing teams with more field time throughout the year.

Township Board of Supervisors and staff joined players and officials from the Seneca Valley Baseball & Softball Association for a ribbon-cutting to officially mark the completion of the project.

The new turf infields will extend the playing season and keep the games going, rain or shine!

A special shoutout to AstroTurf for installing the turf for this project! Players ran the bases after the ribbon-cutting, along with a ceremonial first pitch by Board member Anthony Bertolino.

Zoo Much Fun!

Our final Movies on the Lawn of the summer was WILD! Zootopia 2 had the Armstrong Great Lawn packed with tons of smiles and families enjoying one last summer movie under the stars.

A BIG thanks to Giant Eagle, Cranberry Dairy Queen Grill & Chill and Armstrongfor helping make the evening extra sweet with a warm welcome and yummy treats!

And while our summer movie series is a wrap, Movies on the Lawn is coming back this fall! Join us Friday, October 23 during the Great Pumpkin Festival for The Addams Family (2019), starting at 7 PM.

Cranberry Township is hiring a full-time Manager, Golf and Events at Cranberry Highlands Golf Course, one of Pennsylvania's best municipal golf courses and a premier destination for golf outings, weddings, showers, corporate events, and more.

In this leadership role, you'll work alongside the Director of Golf Operations to oversee daily course play, pro shop operations, customer experience, tournaments and outings, food and beverage, banquet operations, and special events. You'll also lead and develop a team of full-time, part-time, and seasonal staff while helping shape new programs and services for the community.

We're looking for an experienced leader with strong organizational, customer service, and team development skills who is ready to help make Cranberry Highlands an exceptional destination for golfers and event guests alike.

Calling all paw-ty pets! Show off your furry friend's spookiest, kookiest, or cutest costume at the 8th annual Pet Costume Contest 👻

Visit Autumnfest (a Cranberry Town Square Market special event) on Friday, September 4th and head over to the photobooth at the Rotary Gazebo between 4-7 PM to enter!

All photos will be posted to Facebook on Monday, October 12 - share with family & friends to rack up the likes! Voting will close on Friday, October 23 at 4 PM. Must be following page to vote.

The 10 pet photos with the most interactions will advance to the final round, where students from Cranberry Township's Kids Club will vote for 1st & 2nd place. Be sure to check back on Friday, October 30 as we announce the winners!

Miracle League of Southwestern PA athletes teamed up with Pittsburgh Pirates players over the weekend for an action-packed Fantasy Camp at Graham Park 💥 From practicing pitching and batting, to scoring home runs, Miracle League and Pirates players alike got a unique chance to bond over a shared love of America's favorite pastime.

Miracle League president and Cranberry resident, Mike Sherry was joined by Pirates owner, Bob Nutting, and Township Board of Supervisors chair Bruce Hezlep, to kick off the event.

Sherry founded the Miracle League of Southwestern PA in 2007 to give those with mental & physical disabilities the opportunity to play - now in its 18th season, the league hasn't stopped growing since. Learn more about how you can get involved at https://www.mlswpa.org/
