Have you ever been to the Massachusetts State Police Museum and Learning Center? They have a drop in day coming up on Tuesday at the museum in Whitinsville!

If you can drop in and check it out, they’d love the attendance. It’s free, but they are a non-profit organization and would certainly appreciate the donations.

If you’ve ever worn one of these you should come by our “Trooper drop-in day” at the Massachusetts State Police Museum and Learning Center this Tuesday 2/25 from 11-3.

All active and retired Troopers and their families are invited to come tour the history of how they became part of such a prestigious organization. Listen to some amazing war stories…they get more colorful as time goes by! Please share with your friends to help us pass the word!

We are nearing the end of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Massachusetts Pink Patch Project law enforcement groups got together, as we do annually to collaborate, share ideas, show support, and raise awareness for those battling cancer. You will see several posts from agencies across the Commonwealth sharing their pictures, so I figured I'd share some of my favorites, including a few behind the scenes photos.

Thank you all who continue to support the Pink Patch Project, including the State Police Association of Massachusetts and the Massachusetts State Police, who continue to facilitate the pink cruiser to be displayed at events. I am glad it wasn't tossed aside when I retired.

You can find more information on where to obtain your favorite agencies patches from https://www.masspinkpatchproject.com/ under the "Agencies" tab.

To those agencies that missed out attending this year, there is always next year. Visit the Mass Pink Patch Project website and sign-up under the "Members-Only" section.

💥Wrong-Way Driver in Gardner💥

UPDATE 8:00 pm: Two vehicles involved. 80-year-old Hubbardston woman was operating the wrong-way vehicle, a 2016 Honda HRV and struck a vehicle being operated by a 44-year-old Gardner woman. Again, only minor injuries sustained.

ORIGINAL POST:
Today, around 2:30 pm, I was on Route 2 Westbound in Gardner when I was nearly struck by a wrong-way driver. The vehicle subsequently hit a vehicle a good distance behind me, and from what I am told, only minor injuries.

Wrong-way drivers are actually more common than you hear about. No matter the reason for the person driving the wrong-way, this is a good reminder to always keep your head and eyes up, paying attention. You never know what’s coming at you around the next corner.

Please share and take a look and help Plymouth Police Department and the Riviello family bring Mr. Riviello home.

There is a possibility that he was picked up and could’ve been dropped off anywhere. He moved to Plymouth from NY.

Please share.
