California is not broke. We don't need Newsom to borrow hundreds of millions of dollars - we need him to act as the leader of one of the most powerful states that we are. We are broke because we continue to subsidize a broken government that doesn't deserve a single Californian dollar. Let's make it happen and subsidize no one.

What's more ironic is that California has the means to protect, defend and recover from climate disasters. We have the funds and the means.

Yet, Republicans in Congress are trying to force California to dismantle its progress on green energy and have any left leaning leaders to step down to access our own money (which to the GOP, is anyone that isn't Republican).

If anyone owes any concessions, its the US Federal Government to California. LA County alone brings in more money in taxes than many states. It is time we separate, and have funds in California stay in California.

Mike Johnson has blocked a proposal to allow representatives who give birth 6 weeks of being able to vote remotely so they could recover from childbirth. In response to Johnson blocking the billl from even being brought to the house floor, GOP Rep Anna Luna stated "Female members should not be forced to choose between representing their constituents and having children."

GOP men do not value any woman. Not liberal women, not moderate women, and not those who eagerly pander to misogynists.
