In 2024, as child with cancer, I was the recipient of the 3rd Annual Terry Confer Memorial fundraiser.

I have been participating with my parents since then, to help collect donations to auction at the event. Tonight I would like to thank some of the people who helped me with donations.

My Mom and I went shopping at Finney's Chocolate Shope, as we do every year, and made our Easter basket for the raffle.

Then we stopped by Centerra Co-Op, and collected a Purina basket that they generously donated. As well as a wonderful w**e and candle basket donated by Mary Fox.

Next we were excited to accept a wonderful gift certificate from the Holcomb family and JMJ Meat Locker, for a $100 Pork box.

Lastly, my Mom and I had fun making baskets with many of the things that brought me joy and comfort during my journey.

My platform for Miss Military Star is Cans for Wishes. As a wish recipient in 2023, I have made it my mission to collect cans to help others. I want to thank everyone that partnered with the 5th Annual Terry Confer Memorial, and brought in their bags of cans tonight. You not only blessed this years recipient, but are helping to make more wishes come true.

To date Cans for Wishes has collected $225,000 (I think) and have funded 45 wishes. This year in honor of America's 250th Anniversary, they wish to increase their total to $250,000, and their wish total to 50!

If you don't know this amazing organization, look them up and give them a follow. Just wanted to thank everyone and tell you all about these amazing things going on here in Crawford County, Pennsylvania.
