We are very sorry that the park was closed this afternoon. Once again the Village Board/Canjo Police Dept did not contact us at all re any information to help inform the public of any closings, however temporary. We have asked over and over again to be looped in and still no communication. Hopefully the park will be open tomorrow? Hopefully the park will be open tomorrow? But, it is doubtful due to the rain forecast for tomorrow. Today we still have no idea!

Friends of Wintergreen Park is proud to announce the opening of our Upper Gorge Scenic Trail scavenge hunt. While walking the path enjoy 12 critter fun facts. Can you guess them all? The themes will be changed up periodically to keep it fresh and fun.

Wintergreen Park remains open! Please help us keep it that way by enjoying the park responsibly, being respectful to others, and cleaning up after yourselves. Please do not voice concerns re other park closures here. We are a group of volunteers that do what we can. Please bring all your concerns to a village board meeting. That being said the gorge is closed from the falls to Riverfront

It's going to be hot this weekend and that means a lot more traffic on the Canjo creek and the Boiling Pot. Things have gotten out of control lately with large gatherings, underage drinking, etc. There is NO OPEN FIRES OR GRILLS ALLOWED except at Wintergreen in designated areas. There is also NO GLASS ALLOWED ANYWHERE. And for God sakes people CARRY IN CARRY OUT.

Wintergreen Park, the Boiling Pot and the Canajoharie Creek are all closed due to possible flooding and fast moving water.

⚠️NOTICE⚠️ Wintergreen Park, The Boiling Pot Trail, and the entirety of the Canajoharie Creek are closed due to water levels and flood warnings. Please be safe, keep clear of waterways, and respect all posted barricades and signs. Never attempt to enter closed trails or walk along swollen creeks.

Hi everyone, Our next Parks & Rec Committee meeting will be July 22nd at 6pm at the Pavilion at Wintergreen Park (weather permitting) Do you have things you would like to discuss about the park? Interested in possibly joining our committee? Want to sit in at one of our Parks & Rec Meetings? We welcome you to join us. We are all volunteers and do our best whenever we can for the betterment of the park. And we have done some BIG things. We would love to keep this momentum going and would like your input.
