I work hard all day keeping this farm secure. No mice survive on my watch. No rabbits allowed on my turf. No more gophers live here. I sure am grateful I get to come inside and sleep with my humans at night. ❤️

So when the heat wave hit in early July, our beloved Tank disappeared on us. 😞 He was missing for a long 28 days. I checked the cameras for any middle of the night motion hoping to catch him on odd hours because of the heat. Nothing. Our youngest son came home from college for a week and was bummed to not be able to see his buddy.

Then finally on 8/2, he reappeared! Thin, hungry and SO clingy. Not sure where he was, (despite many lectures he won’t tell me) but I suspect he was locked in somewhere. Someone’s barn or shed? The important part is he’s home again, is staying close and with this heat wave, we’re making sure he stays indoors in the A/C…like ALL day. Because of this, here a photo dump…catching up on time lost. 🥹❤️ We sure did miss this dude.
