The purpose of the 27 SOW 5/6-ERS is to enhance our identity as NCOs, through the internalization of Air Force Core Values while establishing a network of motivated, dedicated, and professional E-5s and E-6s. This organization is collectively a role model for the development and mentorship of enlisted airmen. This organization will strive to establish an effective means of communication with all m
embers to exchange ideas, identify and resolve member’s issues, and promote professional relationships among its members, senior officials and local community leaders. The objectives of this private organization are to educate and reinforce Air Force and 27 SOW policies and procedures, to ensure widest dissemination of information obtained at each meeting, and to improve the morale and welfare. The private organization will conduct activities in a manner that is free from racial discrimination and provides equal opportunity and treatment for all members, irrespective of race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Provide a network of Staff Sergeants (including selects) and Technical Sergeants assigned to Cannon AFB that will create a cross-flow of ideas across career fields and organizational units. Build good-fellowship among junior noncommissioned officers (NCOs) and share ideas on mentoring, evaluation, and increasing positive, constructive communication. Improve and find ways to create positive within the enlisted force, education, and inform one another on changes and issues that affect our profession and our people to improve the quality of life both on and off duty. Our goals are to depvelop consistent and open lines of communication through active networking and lateral issue resolution: NCO to NCO and to enhance each member’s leadership and supervisory abilities to create a strong rapport with our peers and subordinates
