Elect Janelle Valladares for Canon City School Board As a mother of two students in the Canon City School District, serving on the Board is an honor.

I am running for the Canon City School Board because I want to see continued improvement in our district and don’t want to see successful programs upended. As a parent of students, each with unique learning needs, currently at CCHS and CCMS I know how important it is to have a parent's voice on the board. I also know our district will be most successful when led by members willing to dig into the nuance of complex situations to find a constructive path forward instead of focusing on soundbites.
