The countdown is on! In just 18 days, East Texas will come together to celebrate the heroes who make our communities stronger every day.

Join us for East Texas Heroes on Saturday, August 8, 2026, as we honor our Veterans, Active Military, First Responders, and Community Heroes with a day full of patriotism, entertainment, and family fun.

If you have someone who is no longer with us in one of the branches, please reach out to me so we can let the VFW Post Commander know and their name can be read.
