What an eventful day we had celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The greatest day in history!

Jesus dying on the cross showed His love, but His resurrection shows His power.
And death did not win.
It’s the day everything changed!

This day gives us hope.

And today we lay everything in Your hands.

Every worry,
Every burden,
Every unanswered question.

And we choose to rest in the truth that You are with us.

Fill our hearts with peace as we end this day.
Remind us that no matter what tomorrow brings, we can come to You.

Thank You for Your love.
Thank You for new life.
Thank You that the story didn’t end at the cross.

It ended in victory.

I would like to thank those that have been able to attend the community meetings we’ve had at the Village Hall. From the beginning, I wanted to help organize community meetings to give citizens of Capitan the opportunity to gather more data, share our concerns, ask questions, and hear the challenges our Village faces. We are All part of this community, and it is important to share information and work Together to find a respectful balance. The more information we have, the better we can make our own opinions and decisions.
I understand we all may agree and disagree at times. And that is okay. When I took this oath of office, I understood, decisions were going to be hard at times. I will make these decisions. I consistently seek information and work with staff to gain understanding of the daily operations of our Village.
It is frustrating to know that there are so many rumors and gossip in our community. Not knowing the true answers and just assuming. We should be proud of our community, Home of Smokey Bear! Not blasting all the negative comments and making our town seem like the worst place in Lincoln County.
I encourage everyone to take time and visit Village staff. We have a wealth of knowledge that we should be proud of and appreciate the work they are doing. They have accomplished so much that was left undone from previous administration. Our Mayor is available during regular business hours to talk.
I look forward to having more meetings to discuss important topics of Capitan. It’s exciting to know that work is just getting started. I look forward to working with my fellow trustees and Mayor to make Capitan a great place for our business, families, and neighbors.

Hello everyone.

First and foremost, I want to say thank you — from the bottom of my heart — to the people of Capitan. I am deeply grateful and humbled by the trust you’ve placed in me to serve as your Village Trustee. This isn’t just my win — it’s our community’s opportunity to move forward.

Now the real work begins. We all know that Capitan faces challenges, and no single person can solve them alone. It’s going to take all of us — neighbors, families, and friends — coming together with honesty, patience, and commitment to make actual change happen.

Transparency is one of the most important steps toward that goal. Our community deserves to understand how decisions are made and how we can all be part of shaping them. I invite each of you to come to our meetings, speak up, share your ideas, and bring your voices to the table.

My hope is that we can build a culture of respectful discussion, where even when we disagree, we do so with understanding and a shared desire to make Capitan stronger. We may not always see eye to eye, but we can always work toward common goals.

I want everyone to know that I have open-communication. Whether it’s a concern, a question, or simply a conversation, I am always available to talk.

As a Christian, I believe we are called to support and encourage one another. That’s how we grow as individuals and as a community.

Thank you again for believing in me, and for believing in Capitan. Let’s move forward together, with honesty, hope, and faith.
