💙 Letter to Channing 💙
My Dear Channing,
Not being able to talk to you has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever faced. There hasn’t been a single day that I haven’t thought about you and wished I could be there for all the little and big moments in your life. I know I’ve missed so many days, so many milestones, and so many chances to be by your side—and that absence weighs heavily on my heart.
I want you to know this: when you turn 18, if you’ll let me, I plan to be there just like I was for your . My hope is to have the same kind of relationship with you that I have with your brothers now- That door will always be open to you.
Until then, I ask you to keep an open mind and an open heart. One day you’ll understand everything that has happened, and when you do, I hope you’ll see that my love for you has never wavered.
No matter what is going on right now, please know this truth: I will never stop loving you. I will never leave you. I will always be here for you, waiting with open arms and an open heart.
You are my son, my forever family, and nothing will ever change that.
