Happy #WorldOrcaDay! Monterey is one of the few places on the California coast where you can see orcas in the wild on a whale watching trip. They are highly social, hunt in packs and are the world’s largest dolphin species, weighing up to six tons and 23-32 feet in length. It’s an absolute thrill to see them here in Monterey. 📸: @slatermoorephotography via Instagram

From the Monterey County Weekly Sunday e-newsletter:
County Health Officer Edward Moreno had a message for the public, even as Monterey County’s case count rises higher.
“I want to encourage you to not get discouraged,” he said. “The effort you are making is working. If people weren’t using face coverings and maintaining six-foot distancing, the numbers would probably be worse. Your efforts are making a difference.”
So keep making an effort—and stay safe and healthy out there.

Back by popular demand....THUNDER IN PARADISE!😍🏝
...
This hazy "cream" Double IPA was brewed with raw & malted oats, and is one of the few IPA's we brew with the addition of milk sugar. Lactose not only amplifies the body but also imparts a creamy flavor that has a less sweetness than other types of more simple sugars. Complements a big ol' dose of hops...speaking of which, Thunder is double dry hopped with Mosaic & Citra for a rush of bright tropical fruit flavors to the face. Available now on burphopsnow.com for shipping in CA and Salinas pickup (next week). You'll find Thunder distributed semi-normally next week, although quantities are a bit less as we expect a fun variant of this to drop later next week. Happy Sunday! 🤘🍻
