If you are coming out to early voting, I invite you to stop by my area and let’s have a conversation. You’ll see that my campaign is truly grassroots, and what I offer is honest answers to your questions and a clear vision for what Precinct 2 can become.

Many of you know my background in grant writing, grant administration, and project management. I have worked on projects involving water and wastewater improvements, drainage solutions to address neighborhood flooding, parks grants, housing projects and airport grants, to name just a few. I also bring many years of management experience.

I look forward to sharing more about my plans and hearing what matters most to you.

As I have been interacting with you, the citizens of Precinct 2, I have taken the time to listen and learn about the issues and needs throughout our community. Although I may not have been able to personally connect with every single resident, many of the same concerns have been shared time and time again. Your voices have been heard, and they matter.

My focus will be the following:
• Improve the working relationship with the City of Carrizo Springs by providing assistance with street improvements.
• Work to mitigate flooding in areas of Precinct 2 to protect homes, families, and property.
• Assist with addressing abandoned homes and properties that have been forfeited to the City, helping restore safety and pride in our neighborhoods.
• Identify a location within Precinct 2 to serve as an outreach center that will provide information and referrals for essential services such as commodities, food pantry access, housing needs, weatherization programs, transportation assistance, available community programs, and youth activities — just to name a few.

This is just the start. Together, we can build stronger infrastructure, safer neighborhoods, and greater access to resources for every family in our precinct.

I pledge to be a commissioner for all constituents in Precinct 2 — listening, working, and advocating for every voice in our community.

I, Michael Camarillo am running for County Commissioner, Precinct 2 because I believe our community deserves real leadership and dedication to the real issues affecting Precinct 2.

I believe a county commissioner should listen first, act responsibly, and always put the people first.

I am committed to working for the people, listening to concerns, and making decisions that benefit the entire county, not just a few. It’s time for accountability and transparency in our county.
