BREAKING: Migrant hit and killed on highway 277 accident near Eagle Pass
An illegal immigrant died from serious injuries sustained after being struck by a car on Highway 277.
The accident occurred around 6:00 a.m. on Monday about 15 miles from this border in the direction of Carrizo Springs.
Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) took the case under investigation to determine how the accident occurred, according to witnesses the victim was observed on the road crossing vehicles.
A pickup truck driven by a man on his way to work struck the individual who died at the scene while being treated by paramedics.
For now, the victim has not been identified. The motorist was not arrested and he reported the accident himself.

Migrante atropellado y asesinado en accidente en la carretera 277 cerca de Eagle Pass
Un inmigrante ilegal murió a causa de las graves heridas sufridas tras ser atropellado por un automóvil en la autopista 277.
El accidente ocurrió alrededor de las 6:00 a.m. del lunes a unas 15 millas de esta frontera en dirección a Carrizo Springs.
El Departamento de Seguridad Pública de Texas (DPS) tomó el caso bajo investigación para determinar cómo ocurrió el accidente, según testigos la víctima fue observada en los vehículos que cruzaban la vía.
Una camioneta conducida por un hombre que se dirigía a su trabajo atropelló al individuo, quien murió en el lugar mientras era atendido por paramédicos.
Por ahora la víctima no ha sido identificada. El conductor no fue detenido y él mismo denunció el accidente.
