WE DID IT! We had our final Metrocrest Connect Lunch of the Year! We want to thank our Ambassador Madison Welborn and our wonderful member ACU Online for hosting us in their space. We also want to thank our member El Rincon Mexican Kitchen and Tequila Bar for providing a very yummy lunch! We cannot wait to see everyone back on January 18th. What a year it has been! At the beginning of December we gathered with our wonderful Board of Directors for our 2022 Board Retreat! We want to say a special thank you to one of our wonderful members Wingstop for hosting us at their Headquarters in Addison! We also want to thank another wonderful member Ida Claire for providing an awesome lunch for us all! Our Board of Directors and our entire organization is ready to take on 2023! See you next year!

We have officially moved into our new office as of 12/05/2022! We are now located at 1671 S. Broadway St. Office 7 Carrollton, TX 75006. We are new members at one our wonderful Chamber members - Saltbox, which is a co-warehousing and co-office space just one minute south of Downtown Carrollton (they also have a location in Farmers Branch). SALTBOX was created to be a community of people committed to helping ecommerce entrepreneurs get the most out of their business. They have solutions for all kinds of needs so if you are looking for space or solutions for your business, please reach out to them and let them know we referred you. We are thankful to call SALTBOX home and we are so glad they are Chamber members! Leadership Metrocrest Class ###II sponsored by Nationwide Overspray completed their Fourth class of the year on November 18th which was Local Government Day! Thank you to PJ's Coffee North Dallas and Bonchon for sponsoring the day and providing Breakfast and Lunch! Thank you to the City of Farmers Branch for hosting us at City Hall and the Camelot Landfill! Lastly, thank you to the people below who participated by speaking during the day! We heard so many wonderful ways we can get involved in Local Government, we got to practice a Mock City Council Meeting, and we got to tour the Camelot Landfill! Congratulations to STRIDE Fitness in Addison for opening their doors this year and joining the chamber! As excited as we are about the delicious food we will enjoy with friends and family over the holiday, we know that staying healthy is just as important! We only have one Metrocrest Connect Lunch left this year, on December 7th we will be at Abilene Christian University’s Dallas location, details are on our website on the event calendar! We want to say thank you to Fogo de Chão Addison for hosting us all year long and we wish you wonderful business for the busy holiday season! This week we had an incredible group of 60+ and our spotlight was Miranda Bradley with Servpro of Carrollton/Servpro of Bent Tree. Servpro is an incredible restoration service and if you do not know about how they can help you prepare for the unexpected and solve problems when it happens then give them a call today!

Sometimes pain is not gain, and you need to be treated for it! This week we celebrated Dallas Medical Center’s brand new Pain Management Center in partnership with Texas Pain Physicians! Dallas Medical Center wants the Metrocrest Region and all of North Texas to know that you have a trusted provider for pain management and if you need services they want you to reach out. This is a project that the hospital has spent over a year in the making to complete! We were joined by City of Farmers Branch City Council Member Richard Jackson alongside many city staff members, thank you for showing your support to a wonderful healthcare provider in Farmers Branch!

Cheers to Hangover Street! Chris Sanchez and Baltasar Alvarez are taking on the challenge of sourcing incredible wine and spirits from all over the world and bringing them to North Texas and all over the U.S! Hangover Street is a wholesale distributor and would love to speak to hotels, restaurants, specialty liquor stores, and various additional hospitality related establishments. Chris and Baltasar have a strong passion to support the community and be a part of it, we are so glad they joined the chamber! We were also joined by City of Carrollton City Council Members Young Sung and Richard Fleming to celebrate the occasion, we thank them both for their commitment to the community!

Join us on Thursday, November 17th, STRIDE for their Ribbon Cutting Ceremony!
Please register if you plan on joining us! STRIDE will be holding a free workout session for the chamber! Their treadmill workouts are at your own pace, so do not let the workout stop you from joining us! We are asking everyone to come dressed in clothing comfortable for a little sweat.
If you cannot join us for the 30-45 minute workout that is okay! Please still come and celebrate the business and have a libation!

On October 28th we had our final Women’s Business Forum of 2022 our 4th Quarter Women’s Business Forum! “Your Health Matters”! We heard from Dr. Leti Cavazos, DSW, LCSW, Founder and CEO of Cannenta Center for Healing and Empowerment, Dr. Namrata Babaria, MD, Chief Physician of Woven Health Clinic, and Dr. Thao Nguyen, MD, with Dallas Medical Physician Group speak on Women's Health! This panel was moderated by Cristal Retana, Director of Community & Government Relations, with Children's Health!
