Had the opportunity today to tour the new state-of-the-art solar panel recycling facility at Comstock Metals in Silver Springs. Very impressive site. Robotic arms will feed a panel into the processor every 7 seconds, where shredders, crushers, furnaces, screens etc work their magic delivering 100% recycled materials including plastic, glass, aluminum, silicon, and silver! The new era Comstock Lode silver mining from end-of-life solar panels. Extraordinary.

Attended the groundbreaking for the Fleet Data Center out in the TRIC. 40 Billion dollar capital investment. This is located in Storey County, in the largest industrial center in the country, 3rd largest in the world. It is designed for heavy industrial use with no residential for miles around. It has dedicated power and water, including recycled reclaimed water source for the closed- loop cooling of data centers. Best location for these centers.

12 RVs removed
2 stick-built structures removed
13 30-yard dumpsters used
390 cubic yards waste volume
35+ tons scrap metal
Health & Human Services assisted with displaced individuals.
