& accountable enough to remember that its ultimate purpose is not profit or politics—

It is stewardship of the public trust.

It’s always a treat walking in to the smell of bread 🥖 and goodies at Paul Schat's Bakery !! Had a lunch meeting today and we always enjoy the food ..and coming home with something sweet!

Learning about the story of “Papa” Jack and the legacy his family still honors reminds me of the sacrifices many of our families make to see their children step into opportunities that they never had.

A fresh bread filled with hope, history, and a families story to success .. its fills me with hope.

We just gotta work hard 💪

Honored to also receive recognition through the Nevada State AFL-CIO.

I believe the role of an elected official is to represent people honestly and thoughtfully ..especially our working families carrying the weight of rising costs, long hours, and the pressure of trying to build a stable future for the people they love.

Nevada’s workers keep this state moving. In construction sites, schools, hospitals, casinos, public service, transportation, entertainment, restaurants, and small businesses across our communities.

And I think leadership means listening closely enough that their voices strengthen your own.

The decisions we make locally matter. They shape whether families can afford to stay here, whether workers can keep up with the cost of living, whether young people can build a future here, and whether the next generation still believes the American Dream is possible.

I carry that responsibility heavily, and I’m grateful for the support of working Nevadans as we continue building a stronger future together.

I’m honored to receive the endorsement of the Western States Regional Council of Carpenters.

My husband works in construction. I see what that work asks of a person.

He comes home exhausted, covered in dirt, skin smelling like sun from being outside all day building things for other people. Homes. Spaces. Places families will make memories in. And he takes pride in that work.

Sometimes we need to stop somewhere after work and he’ll say, “But I’m in my work clothes.”

And I’m like — yeah you are, and? Head up.

Because there is dignity in hard work.

I think about the people across our community carrying that same weight every day. The workers building, fixing, hauling, cleaning, serving, maintaining, and showing up no matter how tired they are because people are counting on them.

Working people deserve more than speeches. They deserve respect. Opportunity. Safety. Fair wages. And leaders who never forget who keeps our communities running.

Grateful for the support and proud to stand with working families.

Did you know… I’m a musician? 😂

Like, technically.

Back in high school, my first paying job was playing in the pit for a production of Crazy for You — flute, alto sax, and clarinet.

Very enthusiastically.
Not necessarily very well. 😅

Shoutout to the Santa Teresa High School Alumni Class of ’04.

But real talk — that experience stuck with me. Because you learn fast that the show doesn’t happen without the people behind the scenes.

And that’s why this one means something to me.

I’m honored to be endorsed by IATSE International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees Local 363 !! the crew who makes the magic happen across our events, shows, and entertainment spaces here in Nevada.

This is about supporting the people behind the scenes who keep our community running.

Grateful for the support. And yes… somewhere out there is a very questionable clarinet performance. 🎶😂
