🏆 EXCELLENCE IN EMERGENCY DISPATCH — A HUGE MILESTONE FOR JASCO! 🏆
We are incredibly proud to share a major achievement for Jasper County Emergency Services and the dedicated professionals who make up our JASCO team!
JASCO has officially achieved reaccreditation as an Accredited Center of Excellence (ACE) in Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD), maintaining our status as the 228th agency in the world to achieve this recognition.
But that's not all...
🚓 For the first time in JASCO's history, we have also achieved Accredited Center of Excellence status in Emergency Police Dispatch (EPD)—becoming only the 43rd agency in the world to earn this accreditation!
These accomplishments don't happen overnight. Achieving and maintaining ACE accreditation requires exceptional performance in emergency call processing, quality assurance, training, protocol compliance, and continuous improvement.
Most importantly, it takes a TEAM.
Our Telecommunicators, supervisors, training and quality assurance personnel, administrative staff, and leadership all played a part in reaching this milestone.
On August 12, the Jasper County Emergency Services Board of Directors formally recognized and congratulated JASCO staff through Proclamation 2026-02: Recognizing JASCO Staff for Excellence in Emergency Dispatch.
To celebrate these accomplishments, Mac's Stop on Schifferdecker in Joplin partnered with JASCO to provide meals for all of our shifts on Thursday and Friday. A member of the JASCO Board will be present during each of the four meals to celebrate alongside our employees, who were presented with award certificates and EMD and EPD pins recognizing their part in this achievement.
And....... WE'RE NOT FINISHED YET!!!!🌟
Our next goal is to pursue ACE accreditation in Emergency Fire Dispatch (EFD) this November! Achieving that goal would put JASCO among the select group of emergency communication centers worldwide to hold TRI-ACE accreditation across all three disciplines—EMD, EPD, and EFD.
To our JASCO team: Congratulations, and THANK YOU. These accreditations represent the professionalism, dedication, teamwork, and commitment to excellence that you bring to JASCO and the communities and first responders we serve every single day.
