We provide practice-informed or victim-driven services. We work with victims and survivors where they are at. Often our first question is, how can we help you? And we move forward from there based on what the person wants. We prefer to work with survivors past the point of their initial crisis because we know that, if they stay engaged with an advocate, even f

or four to six meetings, they are 1) less likely to be re-assaulted, 2) more likely to access the resources they need in the community, 3) more likely to stay separated from their abuser, and 4) they have a better sense of connection with their community.

Need support but unable to come to our office?

Our colocated advocate is available every Monday from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at DHS. Anyone going through any victimization is welcome to ask to speak with our advocate in a safe and confidential setting.

If it is not safe, comfortable, or possible for you to visit our office, support is still available. Our advocates are non-mandatory reporters, and conversations remain confidential.
