Dolly knew a thing or two about the power of a good book—and we know a thing or two about celebrating them! 📚💕

This Sunday from 12 to 2PM we are hosting a Book Swap right here in Czech Village in honor of the release of our brand new Library Lager and the opening of the new Cedar Rapids Public Library Busse Branch. In collaboration with I'll Meet You There right across the street we are celebrating everything a good community library stands for.

And if Dolly Parton has taught us anything it is that books and the people who love them deserve to be celebrated every single chance you get.

Bring at least one book to swap with the community. Any extra books will be donated to the Friends of the Library. Good reads. Cold Library Lager. Czech Village doing what it does best.

The Busse Branch Gala: Where Dreams Take Root will be held on Thursday, September 17 at 7pm to celebrate the community's investment in a library built to inspire learning, connection, and possibility.

When the Inspiring Big Dreams capital campaign launched in January 2024, we set out with a vision to build a permanent library that would serve and inspire our community. Now, that vision is becoming a reality.
