Tonight's ride, unfortunately, is being cancelled. It will be in the mid 40's and very damp if not actually raining into the evening. Not a good night to ride. Same meetup and time next week-May 14.
Please pass this on if you know anyone who had planned on tonight. Hopefully the weather will start cooperating soon!!!

Hi cyCLers! I have some wonderful free stuff from Semcog and their Walk Bike Drive Safe.org campaign. Unfortunately I could only get 10 of the green armbands but I have a bunch of wristbands and bike lights so we can all be safe on the road. First come first served...but I have a bunch so I think everyone will get some.
Looking forward to the first ride. remember to PASS IT ON so we can have an amazing ride.

ATTENTION!!! The first ride scheduled for 4/23 will be moved to May 7, 2019. I have to work extended hours on Tuesday and will be unable to make the ride on time. I will be out of town on May 30.
Again it would be helpful to have some volunteers to help lead rides when I am unable and to help with logistics.
Sorry about the cancellation. See you all on May 7 at Memorial Park.

90 years ago today, at 9:15 PM on March 3, 1929, a citizen reported a dwelling fire to the Village of Center Line Fire Department.

When firemen arrived on the scene at the corner of Van Dyke and Edward St., they found a vacant frame dwelling owned by Louis Yenahan was ablaze. They quickly deployed 500 feet of hose and extinguished the fire using the fire engine streams and were back in service within one hour. Loss on the building was estimated to have been $100, or roughly one-third the value of the vacant building, which had no contents.

It had been five days since their last fire call and it would be another four days before they would receive their next call.

It is important to clean the lint trap in your dryer regularly and to clean the exhaust hoses annually. See the link below for more information on dryer safety.
