She is doing a summer exchange program selling educational books and apps for families from young toddler all the way to college prep. This is Anastasiia's 1st week in Center, so if you see her, don't be shy to tell hi to her. SHE DOES NOT REPRESENT OR IS AFFILIATED with any of the schools.

July 22, 2026 – CBI – Center, CO –The Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI), in coordination with the Saguache County Sheriff’s Office and Saguache County Board of Commissioners, is providing an update on the December 2025 homicide of 78-year-old Charles William “Bill” McClure.

The Center Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance regarding a recent break-in at the Center Assembly of God.

Anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity or has information related to this incident is encouraged to contact San Luis Valley Crime Stoppers at (719) 589-4111, you may remain anonymous.

Any information, no matter how small, could assist officers with the investigation.

As a follow-up to our original post, Anonymous Drug Activity Report Forms are now available in the Town Hall lobby.

The form is completely anonymous and is designed to collect the information officers need to properly follow up on tips while protecting the identity of the reporting individual. Names are not requested or included on the form.

Forms may be picked up or turned in at Town Hall.
