A special thank you to our FEMA representatives for their continued support and for meeting with us weekly to help finalize the documentation associated with Winter Storm Fern.

We also want to express our appreciation to all of our local departments, agencies, and partners who have been patient throughout this process and worked diligently to provide the necessary information and supporting documents.

Disaster recovery is truly a team effort, and the cooperation and dedication shown by everyone involved helps ensure our community receives the assistance and resources it deserves. Thank you all for your hard work and commitment to Hickman County.

FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 945 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following
counties, Hickman, Lawrence, Lewis, Maury, Perry and Wayne.

* WHEN...Until 945 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 650 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Lawrenceburg, Hohenwald, Centerville, Waynesboro, Linden,
Mount Pleasant, Summertown, Clifton, Lobelville, Ethridge,
Kimmins, Pleasantville, Gordonsburg, Flatwoods, Henryville,
Hampshire, Nunnelly, Bucksnort, Pinewood and Williamsport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Hilltop Substation Planned Outage Part 2! 📢 New equipment was successfully installed during Sunday's planned outage but to fully complete the upgrades and substation fire repairs, we need to briefly turn off the power at the substation (less than an hour) on Tuesday, June 16 at 10 PM.
