Today we’re marking the end of two remarkable careers at Dispatch and the beginning of a new chapter for two people who have meant a great deal to this community.

For more than three decades, Roger Mays, and for over two decades, Kim Deal, answered the call; often unseen, often unheard, but always essential. Their work required patience, steady judgment, and compassion in moments when it mattered most. That kind of service leaves a lasting mark, not just on an agency, but on an entire community. The impact of their work will be felt for years to come.

If you’re nearby today, feel free to give a honk as a simple thank-you. And please join us in congratulating Roger and Kim on their retirement and wishing them nothing but the best moving forward.
