Let's celebrate America Recycles Day on November 15th, when the EPA recognizes the importance and impact of recycling, which has contributed to American prosperity and the protection of our environment. ♻️Join people around the world in observing Recycle Awareness Week, September 15-21! This week-long celebration is an opportunity for everybody to come together and support recycling. Take a quick glance around your house—what can be recycled? Instead of throwing things away, separate recyclable materials such as paper, hard plastic bottles, and juice & milk cartons, and send them for recycling. It's a simple and effective way to make the world a better place!

For those that watched the film The Story of Plastic recently, I hope it was thought provoking. I am going to post some questions and would love to hear your responses!

Corporations (including the oil and gas industries and food, beverage, consumer goods and retail industries) have been pushing the pro-plastics narrative for decades. Can you cite examples of the types of false narratives they’ve perpetuated? Which of these narratives are debunked in the film? What pro-plastic narratives do you notice around you in the world today?
