While our cadre was teaching HOT classes out in Boise, ID, Kevin McFarland was at the Northwestern Ohio Volunteer Firefighters Association (NWOVFA) conference at Penta Career Center in Perrysburg, OH. Kevin was presenting one of our lecture series for engine company operations. Kevin presented to almost 60 students. Thanks to NWOFA for having us!!

Thank you Boise!!

This week we had the privilege of putting on the Relentless Engine Company class at the March Mayhem Conference. Over 50 students furthered their knowledge in forcible entry, hose movement, search, first due officer tactics, hoarder conditions, firefighter CPR, drags and carries, and more!

We had incredible students from all over the Northwest, Missouri, and Mississippi. They were very hard working and brought a great attitude to every evolution. The effort, teamwork, and willingness to learn made for an outstanding few days on the training ground.

Thank you to the organizers of March Mayhem Fire Conference, The Boise Fire Department and the Nampa Fire Department for the hospitality and support. We’re proud to be part of an event that brings firefighters together to sharpen their skills and push the craft forward.
