I have been a life long resident of Cherokee County and growing up here has been a true blessing. Now as my wife and I raise a child We will work to help the county continue to grow and flourish beyond even the heights it has reached since I was a small child. I have always tried to live my life with biblical principles, falling short of this at times, but always getting back up and trying again.

I plan on running the office with those same biblical principles and treating the tax payer with the up most respect which they deserve.

2. Suspension of vehicle registration effective July 19
3. Driver’s license suspended for 30 days
4. Debt forwarded to collections with a 35% surcharge
5. Possible legal proceedings and negative credit impact

If you’re getting a text message claiming to be from the DMV about a traffic ticket or toll violation, it’s a SCAM—just like the toll text message scam that went around recently.

🚫 The DMV will NEVER send you a text message about tickets or tolls.
📬 You would receive a letter in the mail, or a law enforcement officer would contact you in person.

✅ DO NOT click any links.
✅ DO NOT provide any personal or payment information.
✅ Report the message if possible.

All County Offices will be closed today (Monday, Dec. 23rd, 2024) through Christmas Day Wednesday, Dec. 25th.

The Administration Building will reopen on Thursday, December 26th from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
