Hey Champlin!

Looking for a way to make an impact in your community? We’re currently seeking applicants to fill a vacant Ward 2 seat on the Parks & Recreation Commission.

Commission members help shape the future of Champlin’s parks, trails, programs, and open spaces by reviewing development plans, evaluating recreational offerings, and helping guide long-range planning. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7pm.

If you're passionate about parks and recreation opportunities for all ages, we encourage you to apply by July 1.

Hey Champlin!

We understand some have concerns about the decision we made earlier this week to cancel the June 4 MC Summer Series concert, especially now that the weather is looking more favorable.

This decision was not made lightly. Because Roseland (Country Music) is traveling from Nashville, we needed to make a call in advance based on the forecast at that time. This helped prevent the band from incurring travel costs, only to risk a last-minute cancellation.

We know it’s disappointing when the weather shifts, and we truly appreciate your understanding as we work to balance planning ahead with supporting our performers and partners.

Good news, Roseland has been rescheduled and will now perform on September 3 at Mississippi Crossings. We’re excited to welcome them and expand the 2026 concert series into the Fall in partnership with Char Blu. Thank you for sponsoring free music on the river.

While we’re disappointed to miss tonight along the river, we look forward to seeing you at upcoming concerts, starting next week, June 11, with Good for Gary (Top 40 Hits) during the Father Hennepin Festival. 🎡🎆

Hey Champlin!

Only two weeks left to share your input on the future of Champlin parks. The Park System Plan "round two" survey is now open, and we’re looking to hear from residents. 🗣

Based on what you shared with us last summer, we’ve developed recommendations for the future of Champlin’s parks. Now we want to make sure these ideas reflect what our community truly needs.

Take the survey by May 22:
