A FEMA SAFER funded grant to assist volunteer fire departments with their recruitment and retention
The Volunteer Workforce Solutions (VWS) programs use SAFER recruitment and retention grants to study traditional recruiting methodologies as well as Geographic Information system (GIS) based methodologies. VWS provides marketing material, training, and support to participating departments to ensure the success of their recruitment and retention campaigns. www.everydayherova.org for Virginia
