June is Elder Abuse Awareness Month. This year, Geauga County Job and Family Services Adult Protective Services will be offering a 15-minute Dementia Experience for registered attendees on June 1st, conducted by Geauga County Department on Aging 's very own Vicki Zanella, Adult Day Service Coordinator.

These 15-minute sessions will mimic what is it like for those living in our community who have dementia. This offers a firsthand look at their struggles and provides valuable insight into their world.

Come meet the Adult Protective Services Team and Department on Aging staff as we work together to keep seniors safe, supported, and connected to resources. Together, we can help ensure Geauga County seniors are protected and empowered to live safely and independently.
