Today, I had the honor of joining Sheriff Scott A. Hildenbrand, Congressman Dave Joyce, Commissioner Jim Dvorak, other elected officials, and the Hambden Fire Department for the groundbreaking of a brand new fire station campus on Old State Road.

This $8 million project is fully funded through federal and state grants, meaning no new burden on local taxpayers.

The new campus will include modern apparatus bays, living quarters for on-duty personnel, administrative space, and will even serve as a future polling location for Hambden Township residents, who currently must leave the township to cast their ballots.

Congratulations to the Hambden Fire Department and everyone who made this happen. I know the department is famous for its clambakes, but I think this new kitchen might be able to handle a pancake breakfast too!

1️⃣ Go to the Geauga County Board of Elections

2️⃣ Arrive today, Sunday, May 3 between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM

3️⃣ Bring your ID

4️⃣ Enter through the front doors (see graphic)

5️⃣ Take the stairs or elevator to the lower level

6️⃣ Republican voters: ask for a Republican ballot

7️⃣ VOTE! 🗳️
