Serving as County Clerk and Register of Deeds since January 2013. Serving Eaton County since March 1989. The duties of the County Clerk are prescribed by State Statute and include:
Clerk of the Board of Commissioners
Clerk of the County Canvassers
Clerk of the Board of Election Commissioners
Clerk of the Jury Board
Clerk of the Plat Board
Chief Election Officer for

the County
Register of Vital Statistics

The County Clerk is also the "keeper" of the Circuit Court seal and Circuit Court files. Felony criminal cases that are bound over from District Court, personal protection orders, and civil cases over $25,000 are filed in the Circuit Court Clerk's Office. State Statute also prescribes the duties of the Register of Deeds. The Register is responsible for receiving, recording and digital storage of all legal documents affecting real estate within Eaton County.

Secretary of State Mobile Office is coming to the Eaton County Courthouse on January 27th.

Hours: 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m-2:00 p.m.

No appointment needed!

Monday, Oct. 21, is the LAST day to register ONLINE or BY MAIL to vote in the Nov. 5 General Election.

Citizens can still register to vote in person at their local clerk’s office with proof of residency, even on Election Day.
