The Wingate Volunteer Fire Department offers a wide variety of services that include but not limited to fire suppression, emergency medical care , technical rescue and fire prevention through education. Our department has eight vehicles in our fleet consisting of two engines, one rescue, one tanker, one brush truck, two first responder vehicles and one chief vehicle. Over the last 10 years, our or
ganization has nearly doubled our call volume answering over 1,200 calls for service each calendar year. Wingate Volunteer Fire Department operates Monday through Sunday 24/7, with three employees during the day, two employees during the night and two employees on the weekends. This program has helped us maintain and ensure our equipment is ready for service at all times. It has also helped us meet the challenge of ensuring that our increase in daytime call volume is answered as quickly as possible. This program has proven itself beneficial helping the organization but more importantly the citizens we serve. I would like to take the time to thank you for all the support you have given us making our service so rewarding.
